Basic gameplay[ | ]
The core gameplay loop of Stranded Sails is farming and fishing to gather ingredients for cooking food, exploring to complete quests, then returning to camp to advance the quest, interact with the crew, and acquire new tools and building kits to unlock additional exploration options, all the while managing energy consumption.

Tips and tricks[ | ]
- Early on, the player is given a map from Charles. This map tracks where the player is and what areas have and have not been explored. It also allows the player to fast travel back to the camp at any time and with no cost of any sort, so there is no need to make preparations for a return trip from any exploration.
